Tony Mafnas is a native of Guam who is now residing in Southern California. During his early days of fishing, Tony developed his love of the sea and its various life forms.
Tony’s media includes water colors, oils and ceramic. Some of his water colors are on display at the Washington D.C. Art Museum. He is also a recognized hand painter of vases, plates and ceramic tiles. In 1983, 1984 and 1985, Tony won the International Ceramics Show in Washington, D.C.
Presently, Tony is concentrating on ceramic sculptures related to marine life. His special techniques, developed over many years, results in the unique beauty of his pieces. Each sculpture is hand painted and although similar, no two are alike.
The owner of these pieces has a one-of-a-kind work of art, signed and dated by Tony.
